BIBLE STORY: Baby Jesus is Born I Luke 2:1-7

This week we decorated an ornament to remind us that Jesus is God’s Son. Grab the ornament your toddler decorated and review the Bible story with your toddler to help them remember that God keeps His promises!

Encourage your toddler to place his or her ornament on your family’s Christmas tree or somewhere around the house where he or she will see it every day. While your toddler hangs the ornament, review the story of Jesus’ birth in Luke 2:1-7. Encourage your toddler to point to baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the animals in the picture on the ornament.

Say, “This ornament will help us remember Jesus is God’s Son! Who is God’s Son?” Encourage your toddler to say, “Jesus is God’s Son!”
