MONTHLY FOCUS: I Can Give Thanks

BIBLE STORY: Ten Lepers I Luke 17:11-19

God loves us so much and wants the best for us. In the Bible story of the Ten Lepers we learn that Jesus healed 10 sick men, but only one went back to thank Jesus. We learned how it is important to thank God for the things we have in our lives.

My Give Thanks Bible

This week we read a book called, My Give Thanks Bible. Once we finished reading the book we talked about some things the Bible says we should give thanks for. After naming each thing we are thankful for we said, “Thank you God!”

Examples from the book:
We should give thanks for the world God made. Let’s say thank you God.
We should give thanks because God always watches over us. Let’s say thank you God.
We should give thanks because God helps us be brave. Let’s say thank you God.
We should give thanks because God keeps us safe. Let’s say thank you God.
