Mile #1: Forgiveness

On the cross, Jesus spoke words of forgiveness. You can speak words of forgiveness, too.

Family Activity: Proverbs 16:24 says, “Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” During breakfast, read this Proverbs together at the table and enjoy something sweet to eat. Use the following questions for discussion:

• How does it taste?
• How do sweet things make you feel?
• What are some sweet words you can speak when people hurt your feelings?
