Bible Story: Noah Took Care Of The Animals | Genesis 6:17-21; 7:1-10

Lesson Overview
We traveled up, up, up high in the sky with our friend Sunny the Cloud and found our friend Teal Tiger! Teal Tiger wanted us to play a game finding shapes in the clouds, but we were having so much fun playing the game that we almost missed the Two by Two cruise ship passing by below
When we looked down to see what was happening on the ship, we saw our friends Sydney, Shelby, and Aunt Jessie getting ready to feed the bird flying in the sky above the ship. Aunt Jessie told Sydney and Shelby to feed birdseed to the bird, but Sydney tasted the birdseed and it tasted yucky! So instead of feeding birdseed to the bird, Sydney and Shelby decided to feed the bird some yummy cookies instead. Aunt Jessie returned to find the bird with a tummy ache and knew it was time for Sydney and Shelby to learn what God said about taking care of the animals.
While watching the Bible story, we learned Noah took care of the animals on the boat. He took care of lots of animals and it was a lot of work! But Noah knew God trusted him to take care of the animals by feeding them and making sure they were safe.
Shelby and Sydney learned they should take care of the bird and feed him birdseed (and not cookies!) and we learned “I Will Take Care of God’s Creation!”
Sunny’s Friends
Sunny the Cloud has so much fun up in the sky so high with his Quest Animal friends. Each weekend we will meet a different Quest Animal up high in the sky and each weekend children can collect these special Quest animal clouds. Any child who collects six of the nine Quest Animal clouds and brings their Sunny the Cloud poster August 16 or 17 will receive a Sunny the Cloud Memory Game!
