Bible Story: Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet, John 13:1-17

The Finders continue to track their nemesis Goldman and Charlie has been working hard to get a headquarters built to help their pursuit. She and Hannah are about to visit it in Episode 6 of The Finders: Fool’s Gold!

Charlie and Hannah are headed to Pyrite Point to continue their pursuit of Goldman. Make sure to come back next week to see how the chase goes.

We saw in the episode how Charlie’s pride continues to cause her to push others away and rely solely on herself. It has blinded her to how much help she has around her. We were also introduced to Less, Charlie’s intern. Contrary to Charlie, Less is happy to serve those around him.

In eGroup we talked about how one way to show humility and put others first is to serve them. Jesus set the ultimate example for us in how he served. In one particular instance that we looked at, he served his disciples by washing their feet. We are never more like Jesus than when we are humble enough to put others first and serve them. Talk with your family this week about ways that you can serve each other and those around you. Hold each other to following through and living a life of service.
