Main Point: A wise person walks with wise friends

Last week, the Miller’s Ridge Academy Film Club lost all the money they had raised to keep their club in operation. Let’s catch up with Hannah, Dani, Zack, and Caleb and see how they’re doing after that devastating blow.

Wow! One of their biggest clues about the disappearance of their money, the “BC” jacket, belongs to Charlie! Does that mean she’s to blame? Can it be that easy? Let’s see what Dr. Oldman thinks about this turn of events.

This mystery continues to astound and Dr. Oldman doesn’t seem to be any further ahead than the rest of us. He did highlight a great point, however, about how Hannah’s friends proved to be wise by encouraging her to not give up. They rallied around her and began a plan to try to solve this mystery.

Talk with your family this week about the friends you have around you. Proverbs speaks very strongly about our friends and lets us know that we usually become like those we spend the most time with. It is vitally important that your kids make good choices about friends but it is equally important that you as parents are setting a good example in your friendships as well. One of the best tools God has given us in this life is relationships and it’s important that we are excellent stewards of those relationships.
