This month we are learning, how we can make waves and change the world around us. Specifically, we’ll look at how we can show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control!
Whew, that’s a lot! But the good news is God doesn’t expect us to make waves of change on our own! He’s given us the gift of the Holy Spirit to help us.

- Week 2: Choose joy no matter what’s going on.
- Week 3: You can help others make peace.
- Week 4: Be patient with each other.
Just like how a tiny splash of water can make a difference, our smallest actions can make big waves in the world around us! All it takes is one act of kindness (or love, joy, patience, etc.) to set off a chain reaction of good deeds. But we don’t have to make waves alone — our friend Jesus is always with us, and can help us do everything!

We’re Learning… Jesus is powerful.
Bible Story: The Mean Giant ● 1 Samuel 17:1-51
This month we’re learning, “God helps me” in 1 Samuel 17:1-51. A shepherd boy named David had to stand up to a mean giant named Goliath. Goliath was much bigger and stronger than David, but David won the fight against Goliath because he trusted God to help him. Life can be tough, but God knows us, loves us, and has the power to help us. God can help us every day!
