WHAT YOU DO: Read “Jesus is Alive” — Matthew 26-28 from the Bible. (CLICK HERE for children’s Bible recommendations.)

Complete the activities below with your toddler to help them learn Jesus is alive.
April 2:
Song Activity:
WHAT YOU DO:
- Lead your toddler in singing the song below to the tune of “Mary Had a Little Lamb.”
Jesus died for you and me,
you and me, you and me.
Jesus died for you and me,
and now He is alive!
Let’s all clap and shout “hooray!”
Shout “hooray!”

Jesus is alive!
- Continue the activity for as long as your toddler is interested.
- After the activity, say, “Great job! Who is alive?” Encourage your toddler to say, “Jesus is alive!”
April 9:
Parade Activity:
WHAT YOU DO:
- Say, “Happy Easter! Jesus is alive and He wants to be our friend forever. That’s something to celebrate! Let’s have a parade to celebrate that Jesus is alive!
- Lead your toddler in a parade around the room while chanting, “Jesus is alive!”
- Switch it up and encourage them to do the following:
- Hop
- Crawl
- Twirl
- Walk fast
- Walk slow
- Take big steps
- Take little steps
- Occasionally stop to ask your toddler, “Who is alive?”, and encourage them to say, “Jesus is alive!”
- Continue the activity for as long as your toddler is engaged.
- After the activity say, “Great job! Who is alive?” Encourage your toddler to say, “Jesus is alive!”
April 16:
Memory Verse Activity:
WHAT YOU NEED: Safari Playlist
WHAT YOU DO:
- Before the activity, practice saying the memory verse and doing the motions a few times.
- Play the Safari playlist and have a dance party to help your toddler remember the memory verse.
- After about 30 seconds, pause the music and encourage your toddler to stand very still or FREEZE.
- Lead them in saying the memory verse with these motions:
“He (point up)
has risen.” (put both hands by side and raise upward)
Mark 16:6b (open hands like a book)
- After saying the verse, turn the music on again and repeat the activity every 30 seconds for as long as your toddler is interested.
- After the activity, say, “Great job! Who is alive?” Encourage your toddler to say, “Jesus is alive!”
April 23:
Response Activity:
WHAT YOU DO:
- Say, “In the Bible story, Jesus died on the cross, but He didn’t stay dead. THREE days later, He came back and He is alive right now in Heaven. Let’s play a fun game to help us remember that Jesus came back after THREE days and He is alive!”
- Read from the list of actions below. Encourage your toddler to do each action three times while counting out loud.
- Pat your head
- Jump up and down
- Clap your hands
- Twirl in a circle
- Pat the ground
- Stomp your feet
- Wave your arms back and forth
- Pat your knees
- Shout, “Jesus is alive!”
- After the activity, say, “Great job! Who is alive?” Encourage your toddler to say, “Jesus is alive!”
April 30:
