February 6:
Song Activity: Jesus Loves Us
WHAT YOU DO:
- Lead your toddler in singing to the tune of “Are You Sleeping?”
Jesus loves us. Jesus loves us.
Yes, He does. Yes, He does.
He will always love us and always be with us. Yes, He will. Yes, He will.
- Continue the activity for as long as your toddler is interested.
- Say, “Great job singing! Who loves everyone?” Encourage your toddler to say, “Jesus loves everyone!”
February 13:
Memory Verse Activity: Memory Freeze
WHAT YOU NEED: Safari Worship Playlist
WHAT YOU DO:
- Say, “Our memory verse helps us remember Jesus loves everyone, and we can too!”
- Lead your toddler in practicing John 15:12b three times. Say the verse, line by line, encouraging your toddler to repeat and complete the actions after you.
“Love each other (give yourself a hug)
as I (point up)
have loved you.” (point around)

- Then have a dance party to help your toddler remember the memory verse.
- After about 30 seconds, pause the music and encourage your toddler to stand very still or FREEZE.
- Lead them in saying the memory verse with the actions. Then turn the music on again and repeat the activity every 30 seconds.
February 20:
Response Activity: Jesus Loves Everyone
WHAT YOU DO:
- Read each prompt and encourage your toddler to respond.
- “Does Jesus love our friends? (Pause.) Yes, He does! If you know Jesus loves everyone, including friends, wave to a friend in the room.”
- “Does Jesus love moms and dads? (Pause.) Yes, He does! If you know Jesus loves everyone, including moms and dads, pat your head.”
- “Does Jesus love neighbors? (Pause.) Yes, He does! If you know Jesus loves everyone, including neighbors, spin in a circle.”
- “Does Jesus love the people you see at church? (Pause.) Yes, He does! If you know Jesus loves everyone, including people at church, wave your arms in the air.”
- “Does Jesus love your grandparents? (Pause.) Yes, He does! If you know Jesus loves everyone, including your grandma or grandpa, clap your hands.”
- After the activity say, “Great job! Who loves everyone?” Encourage your toddler to say, “Jesus loves everyone!”
February 27:
Parade Activity: God Gave Us The Bible
WHAT YOU DO:
- Lead your toddler in singing the following to the tune, “Happy Birthday.”
- I know Jesus loves you. (point to friend)
I know Jesus loves me. (point to self)
I know Jesus loves everyone.
So let’s shout, “hooray!”
Continue the activity, but sing your toddler’s name each time.
I know Jesus loves (toddler’s name).
I know Jesus loves (toddler’s name).
I know Jesus loves everyone.
So let’s shout, “hooray!”
- After the activity, say, “You did a wonderful job singing! Who loves everyone?” Encourage your toddler to say, “Jesus loves everyone!”
