As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s Motion episode.

Question #1: How does it make you feel when you get a gift?

Question #2: What does “faith” mean to you? Have you ever thought of faith as a gift?

Question #3:Re-read Ephesians 2:8-9. There is nothing we can do to earn Jesus — He is a gift from God. Is it difficult to accept there’s nothing we can do to earn the gift of Jesus? Why or why not?

Question #4: How does knowing you have Jesus as a gift helpyour faith be stronger?

Read the Bible — by yourself and with others. Try different translations. Set aside a special, quiet time to dive in.
Ask questions to help you understand — who’s the author, who are they writing to, and how does this part of the Bible point you toward Jesus?
