Remember God is most important. ● Matthew 8:5-13
As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s Motion episode.
Question #1: What are some ways we can show people they’re important? What are some ways we can show God He’s the MOST important thing tonus?
Question #2: Read Matthew 8:6-8. The centurion (sen-TURR-ee-un) trusted Jesus and respected His authority — he knew Jesus could easily heal his servant. Does trusting God show Him respect? Why or why not?
Question #3:What does it mean to “go to God first” before everything else? How does that show Him respect and that He’s most important to us?
Question #4: What’s one thing you can do to show God He’s the most important thing to you?
Read the Bible — by yourself and with others. Try different translations. Set aside a special, quiet time to dive in.
Ask questions to help you understand — who’s the author, who are they writing to, and how does this part of the Bible point you toward Jesus?
Yak — share about what you’re learning and what God is showing you, especially with friends who don’t have a relationship with Jesus or want to learn more about Him.
This week: Read: Matthew 22:37 — Write down what the verse means to you!
Ask: How should we love God? And how can that help us remember He is most important?
Yak: Share what you read with someone. How do they remember God is most important?
