Show kindness to everyone. ● Luke 10:25-37
As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s Motion episode.
Question #1: Give three reasons why you think God wants us to treat others with kindness.
Question #2: What are some times when the world might say it’s okay to be unkind, but we should be kind anyway?
Question #3: Read Luke 10:33-34. The Samaritan might not have really felt like being kind, but he chose to anyway, even though the person he helped was different from him. Why is it sometimes difficult to show kindness to people who are different from us?
Question #4: What’s something you can do today to show kindness?
Read the Bible — by yourself and with others. Try different translations. Set aside a special, quiet time to dive in.
Ask questions to help you understand — who’s the author, who are they writing to, and how does this part of the Bible point you toward Jesus?
Yak — share about what you’re learning and what God is showing you, especially with friends who don’t have a relationship with Jesus or want to learn more about Him.
