This Week in Motion :: Trust God no matter what.

Trust God no matter what. ● Genesis 26:1-22, 26-31

As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s Motion episode.

Question #1: Trust is putting our confidence in someone we can depend on. What does it mean to trust God?

Question #2: Read Genesis 26:21-22. Isaac didn’t fight the people who wanted his wells — he moved on and dug a new well. How does this show he trusted God?

Question #3: What is something really good that you believe about God? How does that help you trust Him with what’s happening in your life?

Question #4: Is there something that isn’t going your way right now and you need to trust God with it? How can you do that?

Read the Bible — by yourself and with others. Try different translations. Set aside a special, quiet time to dive in.
Ask questions to help you understand — who’s the author, who are they writing to, and how does this part of the Bible point you toward Jesus?
Yak — share about what you’re learning and what God is showing you, especially with friends who don’t have a relationship with Jesus or want to learn more about Him.

This week:

Read: Psalms 25:1 — Write down what the verse means to you!

Ask: Why should we trust God no matter what?

Yak: Share what you read with someone. What’s one way they remember to trust God?
