Series Virtue: Unity – working together to accomplish a goal

Bible Story: Saul’s Conversion | Acts 9:10-15

Main Point: Sometimes being unified means doing difficult things.

This week in The Worship Games 2, the remaining four teams competed in a mountain bike relay race. This exciting race included a couple crashes and a photo finish. Check out what happened!

Dr. Oldman just came in ahead of Jane and the White Team was eliminated. In his preview of next week’s event, Mr. Larry talked about how sometimes being unified means doing difficult things. The example he gave came from the book of Acts in the Bible, where Ananias was asked by God to do something difficult. God asked Ananias to help Saul, a known persecutor of Christians. Even though he would have been afraid and probably confused about why God would want him to do that, Ananias agreed to help Saul because he as united with other Christians.

As a family this week, talk about things that are sometimes difficult to do but help promote unity in your family, your church, or with other Christians. Pray and ask God to give each of you the strength and courage to continue to do those things.
