As a family, watch this week’s video and then discuss a few questions together.

  • Who was our Bible story about? (God, Jonah)
  • What happened in the Bible story? (God told Jonah to go to Nineveh. Jonah didn’t want to go — he got onto a ship going away from Nineveh. When there was a big storm, he was thrown into the water and was swallowed by a big fish.)
  • How many days did Jonah wait and pray in the fish’s belly? (three)
  • After the fish coughed Jonah onto the sand, God told Jonah again to go to Nineveh. Did Jonah obey God this time? (yes)
  • God knew what was best for Jonah and the people in Nineveh. Does God know what’s best for everyone? (yes)
