• “What happened in the Bible story? (God sent an angel to tell Mary she was going to have a baby and He would be God’s Son, Jesus.)
• “Does God love us so much, He gave us His Son, Jesus?” (yes)

This week, engage in everyday moments to continue the conversation: 

• Morning Time: When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “It’s Christmas time, (child’s name)! I’m so excited that it’s almost Jesus’ birthday!”
• Cuddle Time: Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, we have so many fun Christmas traditions. (Child’s name) and I love doing them all together! While we’re making fun memories this Christmas, help us remember that Jesus is the one we’re celebrating. Jesus is special, because Jesus is Your Son!”
• Bath Time: Add lots of bubble bath to bath time. Ask your child if they can cover their entire body with bubbles so they look like an angel. Say: “God sent an angel to tell Mary that she was going to have a baby. The baby was Jesus, God’s Son!”
