An Environment of Fasting

Did you know fasting is mentioned over 70 times in the Old and New Testaments? In Matthew 4:1-2, we read, “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.”

If Jesus fasted, what does that mean for us as His followers?
