December series: This December, we’re singing loudly as we jam out to our Christmas Playlist to celebrate Jesus, God’s greatest gift! The best gift God ever gave was Jesus. Because of Jesus, we can have a relationship with God that will last forever. As we get in the mix this Christmas season, let’s take time to remember the reason we celebrate in the first place: Jesus, the greatest gift the world has ever known.

Celebrate because God sent a Savior.
Jesus is Born • Luke 2:1-7
In Luke 2:1-7, we read about the birth of Jesus! This Word God had promised from the beginning had finally arrived as a humble baby. It may not have been as everyone thought, such as a warrior or someone with high status, but He was exactly what the world needed. God’s rescue plan to save the world was in motion, and as we remember how Jesus was born, we can always find a reason to celebrate!
Family Discussion Questions:
- What makes you the most joyful when you think of Jesus?
- What does Christmas mean to you?
- What’s something fun you can do to celebrate because God sent a Savior?
Engage in everyday moments together this week:
- Morning Time: As your kid starts their day, acknowledge an area where you’ve seen them working or trying to improve.
- Mealtime: At a meal this week, have everyone answer this question: “Have you ever done something bad? How did you feel?”
- Drive Time: While on the go, ask your kid, “Tell me about a time you needed help with something you couldn’t do on your own.”
- Bed Time: Pray for each other: “God, You not only sent Jesus to show us how to live and love, but to be our Savior. Thank You for providing Jesus for us to be saved from our sins.”
