Patience: Waiting until later for what you want now.
Memory Verse: “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalms 27:14
Waiting is a part of life. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait on our own. Through the Holy Spirit, God can help us experience the patience we need to wait well. After all, God is patient with us. God is in control and knows what’s best for us. Even though God’s people had been waiting for years for the promised Savior, at just the right time, God sent Jesus. Because we’re created in God’s image, we can reflect God’s patience in our lives. We can be patient when we remember what God has done. We can lean on God’s Holy Spirit to give us the strength we need to trust God and show patience with the difficult circumstances in our lives.

We’re Learning… God is good.
Bible Story: David and the Good Shepherd ● Psalm 23
This month we’re learning “God is good.” God is good, and He loves us so much. He always takes care of us and gives us so many good things! We will learn the story, “The Good Shepherd,” in Psalm 23. David wrote a song about how God loves us and cares for us like a shepherd cares for his sheep. We can read David’s song in the Bible to learn that God is good to us. David’s song shows us that just like a shepherd, God will take care of us and give us so many good things!
